The Faraday Club is a breakfast; After School Club and Holiday Play scheme based on the premises of Caroline Haslett School and has been caring for children since 1996.

The club is a non-profit making organisation, which is run by a committee of parents who meet every six weeks and oversee the project that works alongside with equal opportunity regulations.

The club caters for children aged from 4 to 12. We also have a special needs co-ordinator on site to assist those children with additional needs.

Once school is over the friendly Faraday Club staff will meet the children in the school hall and walk them to the club itself ready for an afternoon of action.

We have a wide variety of games to choose from as well as group games.

Also we have an imaginary play area and quiet corner as well as a large playground and field. The Faraday Club also believes that 'Children have the chance to play every day and not have to be told what to do'.

We have regular children's meetings with the children to ensure that we are providing a service they enjoy.

BREAKFAST CLUB

Our breakfast club session runs from 8am till 9am and includes light activities and breakfast such as toast/yoghurt or cereal etc all for £3.25 and your child will be escorted to school. (Caroline Haslett pupils only)

AFTER SCHOOL CLUB

After school sessions are from 3pm till 6pm including snack, which is priced at £6.75 per session. If you attend Breakfast Club and After School Club on the same day a discount will be given.

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

Play scheme session are from 8am till 6pm, which is £15.50 per day, snack and tea are provided, but a packed lunch is needed. If you book 5 consecutive days you will be given a discounted rate.

Extra outings during the holidays are at an extra fee.

All places are subject to availability and we work on a first come first served basis.

The club also offers a third child discount.

All the staff hold childcare qualifications, which are regularly updated.

Everyone in contact with the children are CRB approved.

The club also has a Quality Assured kite mark achieved by 4children as well as being registered with Ofsted.
