·         Start to develop balance, agility and coordination within gymnastics

·         Copy and repeat in a follow-the-leader style

·         Perform basic gymnastic skills including rolling, travelling and jumping

Rounders, Cricket and Athletics

Objectives met:

·         Take part in competitive and cooperative games

·         Run at different speeds jump with accuracy

·         Start to use simple techniques in athletics

Year 2

Dance and Multi-skills

Objectives met:

·         Copy and remember moves of positions

·         Move with careful control and coordination

·         Link two or more actions to perform a sequence

·         Choose movements to communicate a mood, feeling or idea

Gymnastics and Multi-skills

Objectives met:

·         Copy and remember actions

·         Move with some control and awareness of space

·         Link two or more actions to make a sequence

·         Show contrast, such as small, tall, straight, curved, wide and narrow
