EKO STEM Workshop

EKO STEM Workshop

Just before Easter, children in Year 4 and 5 had the exciting opportunity to participate in an EKO STEM workshop, an initiative designed to ignite curiosity and enthusiasm for the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

Led by STEM Ambassador Nic Hughes and fully funded by the Ministry of Defence, this event aimed to inspire a more diverse range of young people to consider future careers within the UK’s thriving STEM industries.

Throughout the sessions, the children took part in hands-on, collaborative problem-solving activities. These activities encouraged teamwork, critical thinking and creativity, helping students to develop essential skills while having fun exploring real-world STEM applications.
