Our brilliant Year Two athletics squad recently leapt, sprinted, and threw their way into the spotlight at the inaugural West Flank Year Two Athletics Competition.

Facing some tough competition, our mini-athletes showed the other teams exactly what they are made of! From the very first whistle, the children were absolute ambassadors for our school. They gave 100% in every single event. While there were brilliant individual performances across the board, the absolute highlight of the day came during the track events. In a nail-biting, edge-of-your-seat finish, our Year Two relay team took first place! With lightning-fast baton handovers and a breathtaking final sprint, the crowd went wild (Mr Rutherford and Mr Quinton) as our runners crossed the finish line to secure a spectacular victory.
