On Tuesday, the children had a visit from the Pagrav dance centre. Pagrav, ‘the sound of feet’, is an Indian classical dance form -Kathakwhich expresses stories through movement, especially footwork and facial gestures. The children gained a Discover Arts award and celebrated an ancient tradition and its potential to empower people and enhance lives. The dancers were particularly impressed with the thoughtful questions the children asked.
