In science, Year 5 have been learning about forces.  They have been investigating the effects of air resistance.  They were asked to redesign a parachute for the Super Skydiving Company, so devised an experiment to see which parachute design would have the most air resistance and fall the slowest.  Children ensured all variables in their investigation were kept the same, apart from the parachute size, and they used stopwatches to accurately time the descent.  The children showed fantastic teamwork and cooperation to ensure a successful experiment!
