To celebrate the upcoming World Cup, we are launching a special Reading Challenge to encourage a love for reading across the school.

We want to channel the excitement of the tournament into a fantastic reading goal. We are challenging every child to read every day when we return from the half-term break. T

To kick off the tournament in style, we bought three fantastic football books as prizes.

The rules of the game are simple:

• Read daily: Every child who reads every day (Monday to Sunday) in the weeks after half-term will be entered into the draw.

• Record it: Ensure their reading is recorded in their reading diary each day and signed by an adult.

• The Draw: Every child who achieves a perfect "clean sheet" will have their name entered into a grand prize draw to win one of the three hardback books!
