Y3 Egyptian Day

Y3 Egyptian Day

Year 3 was transported back in time for an absolutely incredible Ancient Egyptian Day! The children looked fantastic in their creative outfits, truly bringing the pharaohs and gods to life. Our young historians dived straight into the culture by sculpting intricate Egyptian Death Masks out of clay, learning all about the fascinating, detailed meanings behind their designs.

The hands-on fun didn't stop there. We also put our science and embalming skills to the test by mummifying tomatoes, and even learnt how to write our names using authentic hieroglyphics!

The excitement carried on into today with a brilliant virtual workshop hosted by the British Museum, where the children got to see real artifacts discovered in ancient tombs and discover so much more. It was a wonderful, unforgettable experience for everyone involved!

Thank you, Mrs Siddiqui and Miss Yates
