This term, Year 5 are exploring the world of 3D modelling using a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) program called Tinkercad.

The children have created their very own keyring designs, combining text and shapes to develop unique and personalised models.

Designing in 3D was a new challenge for many and although the process was quite fiddly at times, the children showed great perseverance. The keyrings are currently being brought to life with a 3D printer, and we’re all thrilled with the results!
