Year 5 visited a local mosque as part of their RE learning about sacred texts.

The children were warmly welcomed, and had the opportunity to explore the mosque, learn about its key features and deepen their understanding of Islamic beliefs and practices.

The children particularly enjoyed learning how to write letters and numbers in Arabic. They asked thoughtful questions and showed great respect throughout the visit, representing the school brilliantly.
