Y5 Science Trip
The children enjoyed a fantastic trip to Furzton Lake, led by the wonderful team at the Parks Trust. Throughout the session, the children explored the local environment and developed their understanding of local plants and trees.
They then investigated the structure of flowering plants, and learnt about the important role flowers play in the life cycle of plants. To finish the session, the children used natural materials they had collected to create beautiful pieces of artwork inspired by the structure and patterns of plants.
It was a fun and engaging afternoon that brought their science learning to life.
