In our current unit, "We are Musicians," Year 4 are exploring how to combine various software tools to compose atmospheric music.

Their challenge was to create a "creepy" soundscape depicting Grendel’s moor from the AngloSaxon epic, Beowulf.

The children had a fantastic time using Isle of Tune, where they focused on layering background beats with original melodies. Over the coming unit, we will explore Chrome Music Lab, Soundtrap and GarageBand to edit, refine, and fully develop our musical compositions.
